New Door Model

I choose to photograph my door again, but remove the wreath as I felt it was a distraction. I then put white paper around the edges of the cardboard to create a border and remove the jagged edges that previous made the model look unrealistic.ImageImageImage

Third Photo Shoot (With Improved Door)

These are the images of the new door model, I have put a piece of cardboard behind each printed door to add dimension to the photo, therefore making the door look more authentic. These were just example shoots to test how effective the new model would be, whilst I feel it is an improvement, I believe that the jagged edges of the cardboard makes it look less realistic, to remove this element the next model I make I shall cover these edges.

Second Photo Shoot

These are images from my second photo shoot, I don’t feel these were as successful as the first shoot, as they look less successful, however they have provided further proof that I need to make the doors look more authentic.ImageImage

First Attempt At ‘A Sense of Place’

ImageImage

These are two selections from my first photo shoot. The images provide a scale size difference, comparing the door to the background environment to show the size difference, portraying the miniature world. I feel that I can improve on these images by attempting to make the doors look more authentic, perhaps by adding a piece of cardboard behind the door to add a dimension to the door.

Beginning of ‘A Sense of Place’

I began my project by photographing images of my front door, with this photo I used ‘Photoshop’ to crop the image to leave the only necessary parts. With the new image I shall print it and put it on surfaces to create a miniature sized door, therefore creating my miniature world.
