“This tattoo represents what music means to me, as a musician and drummer. It says that the music is alive in me.”

“4 Days Separate” – Alex Gatt

“There is a faint number four in this tattoo. It represents the four days between me and my best friends birthday.”

“Repent Our Sins” – Matteo Middlemiss

“My dad and I used to go on a lot of road trips together through Spain. My dad noticed people with this cross tattoo and wanted to know what it was. He discovered it was a tattoo people got when they had completed a walk. The walk was around 927km. My dad and I walked it and got a certificate from the Catholic Church for it. The idea of the walk is that it is suppose to make your suffer. After we completed the walk my dad had suffered several blisters and sprained his ankle during the process, however I was fine after it. In turn to make up for not suffering I decided to get the tattoo in the most painful place I could think of, the back of my feet.”

“On my eighteenth birthday the first thing I did was go to the tattoo parlour to get my first tattoo. I was supposed to get Barney the Dinosaur, because of my name, but chickened out and got a gecko instead for some reason…”

“This was tattooed on me by my housemate on our first night of moving into our new house. We were up late drinking whiskey when we drunkly agreed for him to tattoo me (his first one). I have it to remind me of the first night in my new house, and a new year of my life.”
